Devotion can be only for GOD (Who is ONE) - भक्ति केवल भगवान की होती है


भक्ति केवल भगवान की होती है, और भगवान केवल एक ही हैं, भगवान कभी दो न थे, न हैं, न कभी हो सकते हैं, जिसने उसे जाना, सभी सयाने एक मत हैं (devotion can only be towards God & He is only ONE, can never be 2 Gods, as also declared by all great souls in unison)

नानक जी को जब निर्वान की प्राप्ति हुई,जब समाधी का अनुभव हुआ , तो पहला शब्द उनके मुख से निकलता है (when Nanak ji attained salvation, the first word that came out from his mouth was...)

"इक औंकार, सत्य नाम,करता पुरुख निर्भव, निर्बैर अकाल अमूर्त अजूनि साहिबम गुरु प्रसाद" (इक औंकार (one God), (सत्य नाम) the Truth , (करता) The actual Doer, (पुरुख) The Person (निर्भव)transcending above 3 gunas (Satguna (Good), Rajoguna (passion), Tamas (ignorance), (निर्बैर) having no enemy , अकाल -Timeless ,i.e., controller of Time, अमूर्त - Non-manifest, अजूनि -without birth, साहिबम-The Boss, गुरु प्रसाद -can be obtained only through grace of the guru     


We are mere puppets (or servants) in His hands, constitutionally. The sooner we realise, the faster we get out of this worldly birth death cycle, old age & disease.

भगवान केवल एक ही हैं, दो जीवन में होते ही भय आता है, दो होते ही जीवन में कष्ट है, दो होते ही जीवन में पीड़ा है और एक होते ही विश्राम है


आप अपने जीवन में भी देखें, आप जब एक से दो होते हो, तो चिंता बढ़ती है, कार्य बढ़ता है ,बोझ बढ़ता है, सम्बन्ध बढ़ते हैं, बंधन बढ़ते हैं

संसार माने जो एक से अनेक करे, और भक्ति माने जो अनेक से एक करे
और भक्ति के अलावा किसी और में सामर्थ नहीं है जो विश्राम दे सके, और कृपा से प्राप्त है, अपने प्रयत्न से नहीं फ़िर प्रश्न ये उठ सकता है कि फ़िर तो कुछ करें ही नहीं, समझने का विषय है

जो कुछ करना है, जो भजन, जो साधन, जो सेवा, जो सुमिरन आप हम करते हैं ये वास्तव में भक्ति नहीं है, ये सब साधन ह्रदय की पात्रता तैयार करने के लिए हैं

भगवान और भक्त की कृपा तो सहज है, कब हो जाएगी, किस पर हो जाएगी, क्यूँ हो जाएगी, इसका कोई उत्तर किसी के पास नहीं है "न जाने कौन सी बात पे दयानिधि रीझ जाते हैं" लेकिन होता क्या है की जौहर (technical skill) न हो, तो रत्न मिलने पर भी उसको पहचाना नहीं जाता, हाथ से चला जाता है, खो जाता है

भक्ति केवल कहने को भक्ति है पर होने को भगवान है, "भक्ति भक्त, भगवंत, गुरु, चतुर नाम वपु एक", वास्तव में ये सब एक ही तत्व है, प्रेम का तत्त्व, जो इन चारों के रूप में कार्य करता है
संत, सद्गुरु भगवान की कृपा मूर्ती हैं, भक्ति वो मार्ग है जिसपर चलकर जीव भगवान तक पहुँचता है, भगवान परम विश्राम हैं

Bhagvad Gita (shloka 2.58):


TRANSLATION

ONE WHO IS ABLE TO WITHDRAW HIS SENSES FROM SENSE OBJECTS, AS THE TORTOISE DRAWS HIS LIMBS WITHIN THE SHELL, IS TO BE UNDERSTOOD AS TRULY SITUATED IN KNOWLEDGE.

PURPORT

THE TEST OF A YOGI, DEVOTEE, OR SELF-REALIZED SOUL IS THAT HE IS ABLE TO CONTROL THE SENSES ACCORDING TO HIS PLAN.

MOST PEOPLE, HOWEVER, ARE SERVANTS OF THE SENSES AND ARE THUS DIRECTED BY THE DICTATION OF THE SENSES.

That is the answer to the question as to how the yogi is situated.

THE SENSES ARE COMPARED TO VENOMOUS SERPENTS.

THEY WANT TO ACT VERY LOOSELY AND WITHOUT RESTRICTION.

THE YOGI, OR THE DEVOTEE, MUST BE VERY STRONG TO CONTROL THE SERPENTS—LIKE A SNAKE CHARMER.

HE NEVER ALLOWS THEM TO ACT INDEPENDENTLY.

THERE ARE MANY INJUNCTIONS IN THE REVEALED SCRIPTURES; SOME OF THEM ARE DO-NOTs, AND SOME OF THEM ARE DOs.

UNLESS ONE IS ABLE TO FOLLOW THE DOs AND THE DO-NOTs, RESTRICTING ONESELF FROM SENSE ENJOYMENT, IT IS NOT POSSIBLE TO BE FIRMLY FIXED IN KRSNA CONSCIOUSNESS.

THE BEST EXAMPLE, SET HEREIN, IS THE TORTOISE.

THE TORTOISE CAN AT ANY MOMENT WIND UP HIS SENSES AND EXHIBIT THEM AGAIN AT ANY TIME FOR PARTICULAR PURPOSES.

SIMILARLY, THE SENSES OF THE KRSNA CONSCIOUS PERSONS ARE USED ONLY FOR SOME PARTICULAR PURPOSE IN THE SERVICE OF THE LORD AND ARE WITHDRAWN OTHERWISE.

KEEPING THE SENSES ALWAYS IN THE SERVICE OF THE LORD IS THE EXAMPLE SET BY THE ANALOGY OF THE TORTOISE, WHO KEEPS THE SENSES WITHIN.
