The word closeness also does not apply to Him, because let us say you bring one object close to the next and closer, closer, closer until there is a hair's breadth of gap, still there is a hair's breadth of gap and in the case of God, that gap is also obliterated (removed)  यः आत्मनि तिष्ठति (He who dwells in the Self" ,the vedas say that He is sitting inside your soul & energizing you, so where is the question of distinction ? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kSAwSR9VLOg&t=243  10 In the Srimad Bhagavatam, there is an interesting episode in the 10th Canto, the gopis when Shri Krishna was a little baby, His childhood leelas, the gopis would go to the house of Nand and Yashoda to have darshan of Shri Krishna, very interesting, now they make excuses, so they come to sell dahi, yoghurt, the one gopi comes dahi le lo dahi, obviously you should go and sell in a place where there will be demand for dahi,  go and sell it in Mathura and you are coming to the house of Nand Baba who has got all the cows himself but she is not interested in selling dahi, she is thinking that this Nandlal, the son of Nand Baba, may come out and I may have darshan, so she comes, le lo dahi, take dahi and her mind is completely absorbed in Shri Krishna, so instead, she starts saying take Shri Krishna, Shyam Sundar Lo, Madhusudan Lo, she is selling God. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kSAwSR9VLOg&t=304 11 When Shukadev related this to Parikshit, Parikshit said Maharaj this thing is not comprehensible to my intellect because every mother loves her child, why were the gopis going to have darshan of Yashoda’s child ? Even the cows, you see the cows have got a very special property, this indian gow rani,  if there is a herd of 500 cows, and you separate one calf from its mother and leave the calf, the calf will keep seeing, keep looking and go straight to its mother, if you have a buffalo’s child, go and stand anywhere but if the calf goes and stands next to another mother, the mother kicks the calf, you are not my child, get out.  So even the animals they love their own child.
