How to be Happy in Life? | Learn This One Secret to Find Real Happiness by Swami Mukundanand

How to be Happy in Life? | Learn This One Secret to Find Real Happiness by Swami Mukundanand

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QN0ae0xhlVM  1  The biggest belief that we will establish within ourselves is in regard to happiness where are we convinced we can get true happiness. That one decision will determine the trajectory of our life.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QN0ae0xhlVM&t=0 2 If somebody firmly believes that happiness is in money, his entire energy his entire effort is spent in the pursuit of earning money, if somebody believes that happiness is in achieving prestige and things then that is where his entire energy goes,  if somebody believes happiness is in God then he strives to know and love God so this puzzle regarding happiness needs to be solved to put our life in the proper course  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QN0ae0xhlVM&t=18 3 there was once a crew that became unhappy about his state, he thought I have this dark and ugly color, if I were a swan I would be white coloured and so happy the crew went to the swan and said mr. swan you must be the happiest bird in contrast to me, you have this milk white color  the swan said mr. crow I thought I should be happy until I saw the parrot and then I realized I am a single colored bird he is a double colored bird, he is the one who must be happy the crow then went on to meet the parrot https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QN0ae0xhlVM&t=66 4  and he said mr. parrot you have this green color given to you by God and you also have a tinge of red in certain places, these two colors of yours in contrast to my single dye color, you must be a very happy bird,   the parrot said I thought I was happy until I saw the peacock and the luscious platter of colors of the peacock’s tail that made me really miserable, the crow in his search for the secret of happiness then continued and found a peacock  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QN0ae0xhlVM&t=122 5 he said mr. peacock, God has created you with great affection he has filled your tail blumes with such rich violets and Indigos and greens and blues you must be really happy bird,  the peacock said mr. crow, I thought I should be happy but because of all those colors I was put into the zoo, if I did not have such attractive colors, then I would have been a free bird, the crow then realized nobody seems to be happy. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QN0ae0xhlVM&t=163 6  What then is the secret of happiness ? According to our Vedas, there is one kind of happiness that degrades you, if you run after it, it pulls you down and there is another kind of happiness that uplifts you.  The first kind of happiness is called "preya" and the second kind of happiness is called "shreya".  The Kathopnishad states"verse" if you run after "shreya" your life will become auspicious and blessed but if you run after "preya" it will be a pathway to hell, what is "preya" and what is "shreya".  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QN0ae0xhlVM&t=210 7 "preya"is that happiness which seems to be extremely sweet right now but later on it turns bitter like poison - like for example if you choose to have a third helping of the ice-cream to satiate (satisfy) the tastebuds of the palate (tongue),  it is sweet no doubt but later on after a few years when your cholesterol has started increasing and the arteries start getting clogged, you realize, oh my god, this is the cause of untold suffering  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QN0ae0xhlVM&t=281 8 and on the other hand shreya is that happiness which is bitter right now but later on it becomes very sweet - like for example if you have to get up in the morning and spend 40 minutes doing your yoga asanas, it's not so pleasing to the mind,  however it bestows you good health and a comfortable long life, so shreya seems to be bitter in the present and that is why the mind seeks to run away from it.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QN0ae0xhlVM&t=325 9 This is the enigma (puzzle) of life, things which are beneficial are often difficult and things that are enjoyable in the present are often harmful. I remember when I was a child,  I would often think at the age of seven or eight, why is it that all the tasty things are bad for health and things that are good for health are not tasty there is a saying in Hindi “आमले का खाया और बड़ों का कहा बाद में पता चलता है”  Amla is the Indian gooseberry, it has the vitamin C of ten oranges plus it is rich in antioxidants, so naturally if you eat the Amla it will build up your body immunity, your chances of catching a cold or virus will reduce by 95%, if you have an Amla every day  but the catch is that the fresh Amla is bitter to taste and when the mother offers the Amla to her child the child resists, at that time the mother says, my child the benefits of this you will realize later on, interestingly if you keep the Amla in your mouth for just a few minutes that bitterness turns into sweetness  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QN0ae0xhlVM&t=375 10 in regard to shreya happiness, there is a Sanskrit verse "the student who runs after immediate happiness will have to reject knowledge and one who is a Vidyarthi, the seeker of knowledge, will have to reject immediate happiness.  Similarly in life, the good things always lie upstream, in other words to reach them, we need to embrace discipline, austerity, hardship and the mind rebels against it. If you listen to the mind, there's a good chance you will make a wrong decision.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QN0ae0xhlVM&t=470 11 I was once travelling in an Indian bus and there was a clam (someone who is secretive, silent, or uncommunicative) who came and sat on the next seat I did not realize it at that time, when we both got off on the same bus stand, he started walking,  I found that he had a high-heeled sandal on one foot and the other foot was bare, so he was limping along, I thought poor guy he's suffering so much, I asked the clam, have you lost a sandal ?  he said no baba ji, I have found a sandal, he unnecessarily brought misery onto himself, he found the sandal he didn't have to wear it but by wearing it he has become miserable, so similarly when we choose happiness in the wrong place that becomes the cause of our miseries hence with our intellect we need to analyze and understand where is the real happiness that will satisfy me  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QN0ae0xhlVM&t=535 12 one disciple went to his guru he was in the pursuit of happiness, so he sold off all his possessions made a bundle of his little treasures and along with that money came to the guru and said guru dev I am a seeker of happiness, can you explain to me how I will become happy ?  the guru snatched the bundle from his hand and started running, the disciple thought I had come to find happiness and I have lost my lifetime treasures, at least let me get these back, so he chased his guru in hot pursuit, now the guru would keep ducking into the side lanes and the disciple was quickly after him, finally after two kilometres the disciple caught up with the guru and snatched the bundle back,  the Guru said are you happy now ? the disciple said yes, the guru said, look, happiness is not in these objects, you had the object earlier also, you were not happy and now that you have it, you are happy, the happiness that you experienced was merely the satiation (satisfaction) of the desires, the pain that the desire had created was eliminated and you are thinking I am happy.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QN0ae0xhlVM&t=612 13  The real happiness is in God "verse" Taitriyopanishad says that God is the ocean of happiness and upon reaching Him, we will become truly happy,  so how will we reach God ? very simple, when we cleanse our hearts, when we purify our mind,  in other words real happiness will only be experienced by growing from within, by becoming a better person from inside, if we can understand this one important point, then rather than running around for external enhancements, we will give priority in our life for internal growth  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QN0ae0xhlVM&t=707 14 think about it, many of you may be in your forties or fifties, you have been running for external progress for so many lifetimes, what priority have you accorded in your life for inner growth and  because that inner growth has not taken place the external progress is not leading to fulfillment.  Now reverse the priority, give more importance to the inner victories, make it your primary value in life to become a better person and the better we become from inside, the closer we will find we are to genuine happiness that satisfies you soon.  So let us establish this full conviction within ourselves that to be happy, it's not that we need tremendous amount of money or fame or titles or houses etc. - all we need is to become better people - when that is our conviction, when that is our faith and our belief, then the trajectory of our life will be auspicious will be beneficial, will be uplifting & will be sublime. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QN0ae0xhlVM&t=782 Standby link (in case youtube link does not work) How to be Happy in Life Learn This One Secret to Find Real Happiness Swami Mukundananda JKYog.mp4

The Easiest Path to Reach God - MUST WATCH by Swami Mukundanand

The Easiest Path to Reach God - MUST WATCH by Swami Mukundanand

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tyYhdRfaWIg  https://krishnabff.blogspot.com/2023/07/the-easiest-path-to-reach-god-must.html Full Text 1  That bhakti is above and beyond karma, gyan and ashtang yog. The vedas talk about a part of karma, another of gyaan, another of ashtang yog, another of bhakti.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tyYhdRfaWIg&t=0 2 Sage Narada has written one of the most important texts in regard to the path of bhakti-yoga, he says this bhakti that I am describing is above and beyond the other means which is karma, gyan and ashtang - now you may say that you know he is just liking his own path but really there is a science behind it which we will try to understand https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tyYhdRfaWIg&t=26 3  what is this karma ? karma does not refer to working in the office or cooking at home, the word karma in the vedas has come for the ritualistic practices and ceremonies, so the rituals described in the vedas are extremely elaborate and if you wish to do them you must fulfill the rules and regulations and there are six such conditions to the karmas, "verse"  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tyYhdRfaWIg&t=71 4 the scriptures say “desh”, “kal“, “padarth“, “karta“, “mantra“, “karm“ - when all these are fulfilled you will get the fruit of karma - that means the place where you are doing it must be pure, the time must be appropriate, the material used must be pure, the person who is doing the yagya must be pure, the person who has arranged must have the pure intention, and the mantras used must be perfect, like for example you have heard Yajurvedi Brahmins reciting mantras Verse  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tyYhdRfaWIg&t=129 5 Now while saying these mantras they indicate with their hands and they lift and lower the scales, what is it that they are doing ? is it just an interest of theirs ? No, to each syllable of each mantra of the Yagya ceremony a scale has been attached, that needs to be enunciated and indicated with the hands  but the condition is there must be not a difference of even one scale or you will not get the fruit - just like if a huge air bus, one wire has come off, the plane does not fly, you may say such a huge machine has been grounded because of one wire, that is how it is https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tyYhdRfaWIg&t=211 6  so in the ritualistic section the vedas are very strict why because they want to dissuade us from that side. The fruit of these rituals is materialistic, verse, perform the rituals and achieve material benefit, so the vedas say, look, if you are insistent, go ahead but we will make it difficult for you https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tyYhdRfaWIg&t=279 7  that is why even King Dashrath ji maharaj (father of Lord Rama) during the Ramayana, when he wished to do a Putrakamesthi Yagya, there was only one brahmana on the whole planet earth who was able to execute it properly, Vashisht ji did not do it, he said I am not competent, verse, Sringi Rishi performed it, verse, so these rituals or karma kand are extremely stringent and if you do them properly what is the fruit ? not God realization but materialistic benefit https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tyYhdRfaWIg&t=315 8  in other words you dig a mountain and find the mole hill, that is why Lord Krishna who is the source of all the vedas in the Bhagavad-Gita, He is dissuading us from going towards the rituals, He says, don't get attracted by the flowery language of the vedas that promise you material rewards, understand that they are temporary and they will all be snatched away https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tyYhdRfaWIg&t=377 9  maximum you will get from karma kand is swarg, swarga kamoyajet, but even the attainment of the celestial abodes will be temporary, verse, “swarga swalpa anta dukh dai”, so this is the path of karma kand https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tyYhdRfaWIg&t=428 10  yet four-fifths of the vedic mantras are related to karma kand - 80,000 out of one lakh veda mantras are related to the karma section, you will say when that is not the goal then why so elaborate descriptions ? because the vedas are realistic, they know that majority of humankind is not interested in God realization,  most people want materialistic benefits so rather than letting them become frivolous, they say all right, at least remain under the shelter of the vedas, today you don't want God but you have faith in the vedas, tomorrow you may rise further and say what was the use of all this & so let me choose a higher goal https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tyYhdRfaWIg&t=455 11  now come to the second part, the path of gyan yoga, the goal out here is by intellectual analysis to understand that I am not the body, I am not the mind, I am not the intellect, and "Swarupevasthanam", to become situated in the self, not in theory, we all know in theory that I am the soul, who doesn't know that, but in realization,  which means all these designations we have I am a Gujarati, Bengali, Punjabi, Indian, American - all the designations of the body, to cut them all away, I am the pure soul, by realization, so in the path of gyan the endeavor is to stop the thinking process, and finally allow the mind to reach the state of nirvikalp samadhi, ,i.e., no thinking, like a stone does not think - in the same manner https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tyYhdRfaWIg&t=534 12  but what many people don't realize is that merely by self-knowledge liberation will not happen, liberation requires knowledge of God, the Shvetashvatara Upanishad of the Yajurveda says "verse". only by knowledge of God will you be able to cross over the ocean of life and death,  there is no other means so the path of gyan needs bhakti for its completion, when the gyani engages in bhakti he draws the grace of God and through the grace of God, he is able to know God and then reach the ultimate goal https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tyYhdRfaWIg&t=622 13  that is why in the Bhagavad-Gita, Lord Krishna says the final salvation will not happen by your effort, it will be My prasad or my grace, so gyan needs bhakti for its completion. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tyYhdRfaWIg&t=700 14  the third is ashtang, in this ashtang yoga, Maharshi Patanjali has built bhakti inside because he says "Ishwara pranidhanat samadhi siddhih" ,i.e., you will only reach samadhi when you surrender to God, in other words every path has the prerequisite of bhakti and if you remove bhakti what happens ? Verse  where love for God is not included - that is not yoga, it is kuyog and it is not gyan, it is agyan , ignorance. So the first point is bhakti is necessary in every path but here Devarshi Narada states that bhakti or devotion is above and beyond all the others (i.e., karm, gyan & Ashtang yog) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tyYhdRfaWIg&t=732 Standby link (in case youtube link does not work) The Easiest Path to Reach God - MUST WATCH Swami Mukundananda.mp4

The Biggest Problem in Life that Bhagavad Gita Helps Solve for You by Swami Mukundanand

The Biggest Problem in Life that Bhagavad Gita Helps Solve for You by Swami Mukundanand

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uVLgXE7HO00  https://krishnabff.blogspot.com/2023/07/the-biggest-problem-in-life-that.html Full Text 1 Biggest Problem in Life that Bhagavad Gita Helps Solve for you:  a patient was suffering from griping stomachache and he went to the doctor's clinic, the doctor was not there in his chamber, the patient was waiting, each moment was seeming like an age long, finally when the doctor came the patient expressed his problem to him and the doctor said, not to worry, I've got a medicine here in the cabinet and this will cure it right away  he administered the dose to the patient and in less than a minute the patient's stomach ache started subsiding the patient said, doctor, the cure was right here and I was suffering because of my lack of knowledge of it, the doctor said that is exactly what it is, human beings suffer in so many ways because they lack knowledge of the cure https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uVLgXE7HO00&t=0 2  Ved Vyas says, verse, the main cause of the suffering of humankind is ignorance, there is nothing as sublime (beautiful) in this world as pure wisdom, even in the material realm one little bit of knowledge can make such a big difference,  you know there is an affliction (disease) called scurvy, the doctors here will be knowing, it gets caused when you don't receive any intake of vitamin C for a month at a stretch and that is why in the olden days the sailors who would be in their ship for one month or two would get afflicted by scurvy  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uVLgXE7HO00&t=64 3 and it is such an awful disease so the colonialists who came from Europe to America in the 15th, 16th century, they were getting afflicted by scurvy because of the sea voyage because probably they didn't access vitamin C.  There was one vegetable that could have solved their problems and that was tomatoes, which were full of vitamin C, and yet these colonialists who died in huge numbers because of scurvy never took advantage of tomatoes for many decades because some of them had carried them to Europe and  there one person had misinformed that this is like the wolf peach and if you eat this it will cause frothing in the mouth and it will cause twitching of the body and even death https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uVLgXE7HO00&t=122 4  Everyone believed that misinformation and that was the reason that although the cure for scurvy was right in front of them but they did not utilize until somebody informed them it is not the case and then they started healing themselves  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uVLgXE7HO00&t=200 5 This is being repeated in video: we all know wisdom makes such a huge difference. A patient was suffering from griping stomachache and he went to the doctor's clinic, the doctor was not there in his chamber, the patient was waiting & each moment was seeming like an age long,  finally when the doctor came, the patient expressed his problem to him and the doctor said not to worry I've got a medicine here in the cabinet my cupboard and this will cure it right away.  He administered the dose to the patient and in less than a minute the patient's stomach ache started subsiding the patient said, doctor the cure was right here and I was suffering because of my lack of knowledge of it, the doctor said that is exactly what it is, human beings suffer in so many ways because they lack knowledge of the cure https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uVLgXE7HO00&t=225 6  Ved Vyas says the main cause of the suffering of humankind is ignorance. Of course somebody may say that it is lack of availability of vaccine in developing countries, that's why humankind is suffering, these are all smaller reasons  and the main cause why we are unhappy, the main reason why we are not blissful, we are not experiencing love and the light of knowledge, is the ignorance that is enveloping our soul.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uVLgXE7HO00&t=310 7 Why Lord Krishna spoke Bhagavad Gita? In the Bhagavad-Gita, Lord Krishna is revealing Divine knowledge to Arjun, now think who is speaking this knowledge, it's coming from the Lotus mouth of God Himself, when you keep that in mind you benefit more from the knowledge, the chitta shakti gets added,  otherwise knowledge becomes devoid of chitt, so Lord Krishna is bestowing that knowledge but for others to benefit from it, faith must be established, without faith, people don't utilize it and to create faith in Arjun in the knowledge that he is bestowing Lord Krishna in this verse is giving its credibility https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uVLgXE7HO00&t=356 8  like for example there are weight reduction diets, they have this package for reducing weight but why will anybody adopt it, so they give testimonials “before & after”, people look, wow, now the faith is getting created  so likewise Lord Krishna, He is developing faith in Bhagavad Gita. The Master Teacher, if He had just said, Arjun, here is the knowledge Arjun will hear it but never implement it https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uVLgXE7HO00&t=433 9 so to establish the credibility, Lord Krishna says Arjun this knowledge I am giving you is not just to make you fight the war, it is the same science that I've bestowed in the beginning of creation, so God bestowed it to Brahmaji as we all know, verse, Srimad Bhagavatam says but here,  God says that He also bestowed it to Vivasvan, the Sun god and the Sun god bestowed it to Prajapati, the progenitor of humankind that is Manu, and Manuji Maharaj, he bestowed it to the first king of the solar Dynasty which was Ikswaku so he is saying that this is how the knowledge came and that also helps create bhav towards it  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uVLgXE7HO00&t=472 10 if you go to somebody's house, let us say, & host tells you that it was your grandfather used to live there who is no more, and you are going around and then your father says you know this is the chair on which your grandfather sat for 20 years, now you look at the chair differently, the chair is the same, but the way you look at it has become different, you have got that gyan chakshu (eyes/vision) now.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uVLgXE7HO00&t=540 11 Likewise you go into a temple and there is an idol made of stone, somebody who is unaware of its importance thinks it's an idol, but then you look at it with the eyes of knowledge, the pran pratishtha was done, we invoked the presence of the Lord in these deities and millions of souls till today have worshiped it –  now the bhav increases and if somebody tells you, you know, it was actually first given to Jagadguru Ramanujacharya by Hanuman ji himself, who manifested it, now the way you look at that deity will be completely different, layers of devotion will have gotten added. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uVLgXE7HO00&t=575 12  likewise Lord Krishna is telling Arjun, look, it came to Manu and our Manuji Maharaj, he lives for 30 crore 67 lakh 20,000 years & our Manu ji maharaj, in Vaivasvat Manvantar, he is already 12 crore years old,  so this knowledge, this science is so old and that also is a limited description because God is eternal and the soul is also eternal, so the science of God realization is eternal, that eternal science Lord Krishna says, Arjun, I am now discussing it with you. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uVLgXE7HO00&t=631 Standby link (in case youtube link does not work) The Biggest Problem in Life that Bhagavad Gita Helps Solve for You Swami Mukundananda.mp4

The MOMENT of God-realization | Bhagavad Gita Chapter 2 Verse 72 by Swami Mukundanand

The MOMENT of God-realization | Bhagavad Gita Chapter 2 Verse 72 by Swami Mukundanand

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vIQB7_W1a_o  https://krishnabff.blogspot.com/2023/07/the-moment-of-god-realization-bhagavad.html Full Text *Gita Shloka 2.72* “That is the way of the spiritual and godly life, after attaining which a man is not bewildered. If one is thus situated even at the hour of death, one can enter into the kingdom of God”. https://vedabase.io/en/library/bg/2/72/ 1  The Lord desires his little parts to grow in divine virtue and become perfect like Himself. We revere (respect) saints of the past like Soordas, Tulsidas, Meerabai, Tukaram, Guru Nanak, Kabir and Narsi Mehta, we too must strive to become like them - transcendental in virtue and qualities for that is true spirituality.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vIQB7_W1a_o&t=4 2  Swami Vivekananda put it so well when he said that these great prophets were not unique, they were human as you and I and they had attained super consciousness and you and I can do the same.  They worked on giving up those desires using the buddhi Yog, the yoga of the intellect, cultivating and practicing all this knowledge and they achieved the goal. Tthat brahmi Sthiti or state of liberation can be achieved even while living in the world. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vIQB7_W1a_o&t=45 3  So when that state arises, what happens to our soul? Shri Krishna now answers.  एषा ब्राह्मी र्थ नैनां प्राप्य विमुह्यति | स्थित्वास्यामन्तकालेऽपि ब्रह्मनिर्वाणमृच्छति,  Such is the state of an enlightened soul that having attained it one is never again deluded. Being established in this consciousness even at the hour of death, one is liberated from the cycle of life and death and reaches the supreme abode of God. What happens to the soul upon God Realization? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vIQB7_W1a_o&t=90 4  Shree Krishna says, “Arjun, when the soul reaches that point-” Shri Krishna is developing the knowledge. Here, his emphasis is on giving up desires. When He comes to the 9th chapter etc., His emphasis will be on developing the desire for God, which is devotion (bhakti).  Here, He has just mentioned virtues of not desiring. He says, “Arjun, when the soul perfects that art, when the soul attains mastery over this desire and is able to eliminate them totally, the soul reaches the Brahmi Sthiti, the state of enlightenment.” https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vIQB7_W1a_o&t=169 5  Right now, we are under the bondage of maya, the material energy. This material energy has bound us in ignorance. In that ignorance, we are thinking, “I am the body. This world is mine. This world will be mine. I will not leave it ever.” This person is mine. That person is mine.  In this consciousness, we are doing karmas and the karmas are binding us and this bondage is of many lifetimes. There are the karmas binding us from endless lifetimes. This is the avidya (ignorance).  There are the three gunas of material nature:  sattva guna, rajo guna, tamo guna. Mode of goodness, passion and ignorance. There are the panchakleshas of the intellect, the panchakoshas of the body. So many bonds of the material energy have got the soul in its mesh.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vIQB7_W1a_o&t=221 6 Then what happens, Shri Krishna had mentioned it a few verses ago :“When you attach your mind to Me, you will receive divine grace.”  He says, “Arjun, when that grace will descend, by that grace, you will get not just freedom from desires. Not only dukha niviritti (leaving of) but Athyantika dukha niviritti - the cause of maya, that itself will be cut asunder.  In other words, you are bound by maya.  God will cut that bondage and release you from the bondage of maya. Maya will still exist. The world will still exist. Prisoners get released from the prison. The prison still exists. They are freed from it. The world will still exist. You will get released. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vIQB7_W1a_o&t=287 7  In other words, you may still be alive. You may still be in the world. You may still be living but Maya will no longer bind you.  That is called jeevan mukt avastha - Liberated even while in the body. He who reaches the jeevan mukt avastha - Maya is no longer binding him or her. That person has been released.  There are no karmas there. There would be none of the avidya, or the ignorance, there. That person "swairam charanti munaiyopi na nahya manas" is walking and working in the world, totally free. For the sake & for the benefit of others.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vIQB7_W1a_o&t=347 8 And then when that person’s prarabdh is finished, that person leaves the body and goes to the divine abode of God, never to come back again. That Brahmi Sthiti, or state of liberation, can be achieved even while living in the world.  Arjun, you can do it. Prahlad did it. Dhruv did it. Ambarish did it. Prithu did it. They were all big and powerful kings. They had bigger kingdoms than yours in the kingdom of Hastinapura. They worked on giving up those desires, using the Buddhi Yog, the yoga of the intellect. Cultivate and practice all this knowledge, and achieve the goal, Arjun. You can also do the same. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vIQB7_W1a_o&t=400 9  When that state arises, the Vedas say, “bidyate hṛdaya-granthiś chidyante sarva-saṁśayāḥ kṣīyante cāsya karmāṇi tasmin dṛṣṭe parāvarei”   https://bitl.to/4uMm Hridhaya grantish - the bondage in the heart is cut asunder. All the doubts are dispelled because of the torchlight of knowledge.  Kshiyante chaasya karmani - that sanchit stockpile of karmas of endless lifetimes is burnt. Tasmin drishte - one is united with God, seated in the state of God-realization. That state of God-realization is what Shri Krishna says, “esha brahmi sthiti.”  The state in being seated in Brahm, being enlightened. All glories to Shri Krishna, All glories to Shrimad Bhagavad Gita. All glories to Jagadguru Shri Kripaluji Maharaj https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vIQB7_W1a_o&t=460 Standby link (in case youtube link does not work) The MOMENT of God-realization Bhagavad Gita Chapter 2 Verse 72 Swami Mukundananda.mp4

Yes, I do. How do you offer bhog ? swami ji, it is so simple, I take one thali, I put all the food in it and I put the plate on the altar and then I ring a bell, close my eyes, then open the eyes & then I take away the plate and start eating  but tell me when you close the eyes and then you open the eyes, did you see how many rotis did God eat today ? which sabzi got minus from the plate, which dal did He select more today, did He eat the sweet or not ? did you see all this ?  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=srvBUCcvWik&t=14 2 no swami ji, why not ? God doesn't eat. If God doesn't eat, then why are you offering it ? if it is your decision that God is not going to eat then why are you offering ?  you are very correct in saying that God does not need to eat, the Vedas define Him that God neither feels thirst nor feels hunger nor does he become old nor does He become sick, this is the Vedic definition of God, however when it comes to the love of the devotee, the bhav of the devotee, then God does become hungry. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=srvBUCcvWik&t=65 3   Go and see in Vrindavan, Sri Krishna is going himself to the houses of the gopis and stealing the butter, how hungry He has become, He is eating the half eaten berries of Shabari, that is His hunger, He went himself to the house of Vidurani https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=srvBUCcvWik&t=125 4   you may have heard of that episode from the Mahabharat, when the battle of Mahabharat was becoming imminent, Lord Krishna went to try and forge a treaty and he went to the assembly of the Kauravas and said to Duryodhan that the Pandavas are your brothers ?  Duryodhan said absolutely, they have the right to live ? Absolutely & in order to live they need some land because they are kshatriya warriors. Duryodhan said absolutely.  Lord Krishna said in that case let them have five small villages they will be contented and we will avert this war, Duryodhan said absolutely NOT, oh the amount of land on the tip of a needle, even that much I will not give without war. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=srvBUCcvWik&t=150 5   So Sri Krishna realized it's futile to explain to him, as a last recourse he showed Duryodhan his Virat roop, His cosmic universal form, the one that He will subsequently show to Arjun on the battleground of Kurukshetra during the dialogue of Bhagwat Gita,  He showed that same form to the evil Duryodhan but Duryodhan was still not impressed, some people say chamatkar ko namaskar but Duryodhan did not do any such namaskar, he said who is this joker and what is He doing ? tie Him up in a rope and throw Him in the cellar,  Dhritrashtra had to intervene, Dhritrashtra said look Duryodhan enough is enough, don't mess with Keshav or you'll have to pay for it,  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=srvBUCcvWik&t=207 6 when Duryodhan came to his senses he said "All right all right Sri Krishna forget all this discussion, let's have a meal I have got chappan bhog ready." 56 kinds of items. Lord Krishna answered very aptly,  He said, a person eats for one of two reasons, either he eats because he is hungry or he eats because it is offered with love, in this case, neither am I hungry nor do you have any love, besides I have an invitation from Vidur's house.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=srvBUCcvWik&t=281 7 Now Vidur was sitting in the assembly when his name got announced, he was no longer minister, he had been taken out of that post, he was sitting at the back, he got up, that Krishna is going to come to my house and I have got no arrangements for Him, he ran to the market to see what he can get,  in the meantime Krishna had already reached his house and He started banging on the door, Vidurani, Vidur's wife, was bathing when Krishna started banging Vidurani’s door she said "Who's there?" Kaki I'm very hungry, please open https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=srvBUCcvWik&t=339 8 Vidurani realized that God has come to my door and God is hungry, oh this is my chance to serve Him, how did God become hungry ? because for many many years Vidurani used to meditate if Krishna comes to my house I will make Him sit here, no no no this is not good enough,  I'll make Him sit here no no no no no, I will feed Him this no I will feed Him that, she used to meditate in her mind and Krishna sitting in everybody's hearts knows everybody's thoughts, He knew all the devotion that Vidurani had done  so without being asked, He landed up now Vidurani lost her senses, my Lord has come, she ran out, she was an old old lady, she didn't even realize she's not wearing clothes, she opened the door Krishna came to know Kaki has lost her consciousness, He took His pitambar and put it on her he said "will you not call Me inside?" Vidurani said "Come come come come."  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=srvBUCcvWik&t=386 9 Now she made Him sit and what to offer Him, she had a few options but she was not able to think because she was overwhelmed in loving devotion, the nearest were the bananas she took those and in her absorption she's dropping the fruit and the banana peel she's putting it in Krishna's mouth,  Krishna is eating that banana peel enjoying, wow I have never tasted anything like this, You'll say You've never tasted anything like this like banana peels ? I heard your Golok Divine Abode has got so many tasty things ? no no no, I am tasting the love of the devotee,  God was relishing the bhav (loving devotional sentiment) with which Vidurani was offering those banana peels.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=srvBUCcvWik&t=477 10 In the meantime Vidur ji came he had come from the market, what happened today Krishna offered so much respect in front of everybody, He announced my name that He is going to come to Vidur’s house, let us prepare and then he looked inside Vidurani was sitting with Krishna putting banana peels in His mouth,  Vidur ji really lost his temper, God has come to our house and this is how you treat Him ? so he brought the halwa puri etc which he had purchased, Krishna please forgive me take this, she doesn't think properly, Krishna ate the halwa puri but He said Vidur ji, don't mind the sweetness in those banana peels is not in this halwa puri.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=srvBUCcvWik&t=540 11 God relishes the love of the giver not the gift of the lover so when you offer bhog to the Lord, make this sentiment that He is going to eat it, after offering when you open your eyes at least think for a moment, even today He did not come to eat Pratyaksh  Sakshhat.  He came for so many devotees, for Dhanna jaat  and for Sadna kasai etc. that means I don't have any  devotion,  thinking like that if we feel a little  remorse, we will get a few numbers but if we decide in the beginning itself that He  cannot  come, then where is that faith ?  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=srvBUCcvWik&t=600 12 see I'm only trying to prove that we need to go further ahead, we must not be contented I am already a devotee, that is the biggest enemy of devotion.  In three things be fully contented, in your spouse, in your wealth and in the food you eat, whatever sookhi roti it's all fine.  In three things never be contented, in your study of the scriptures, in your giving in charity and in the remembrance of the Lord. Always think I have done nothing as yet for God, I need to do so much more. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=srvBUCcvWik&t=657 Standby link (in case youtube link does not work)
