Main Point:  1  The fact is that in this world nobody is truly happy. Think about it ! Ask yourself are you really happy and satisfied? Impossible! Veda Vyas says quoting "Shrimad Bhagawat" that only two kinds of people are Sukhi (Happy) one is the God realized saint who has risen beyond miseries & dualities that person is happy and the second, is the mad man.  The mad man is also happy. I said you are unhappy, very good. What very good?! this Swamiji at least you should have a compassionate Heart, while we are saying we are unhappy and you are saying “very good”, you are putting salt in our wounds.  I said what is the purpose of the prison house? To keep you unhappy. If you became happy in the prison house then when the government released you, you will say what to do ? can I become the government's guest again. So God said let me reveal something to him, the reality of the world. He woke up, he said what a dream, there are dreams & invariably they have no meaning, but once in a while, some dream comes along where you say O my God, this was so vivid, there is something to it, God was actually speaking to me.  So God said take all your miseries, okay let me obey. It was dark as yet, he found his neighbors are also coming out with one bag each. He said what, they are doing the same thing, so did God get the same dream to them as well and they also have their misery bags, I thought they are very happy. This guy has got this big car and this big house and their bags are even bigger than mine, I wonder what is in his bag. All the neighbors gathered in the Comfort Inn with their misery bags.  God started speaking, he said I have dug the nails into the walls, hang your bag from the nail any nail and stand by the side of your misery bag. Observe the other misery bags, you can take your pick. The lights are going to go away for 10 minutes after 10 minutes the lights will come back. Within that interval whichever bag you have selected you can go and stand by the side of it. When the lights come on whoever is standing by the side of whichever bag, can pick it up and go away.  It will be a fair exchange everybody looked around. The lights went off after ten minutes the lights came back but the astonishing thing found was that everybody was standing by the side of their own bag. They said you know I chose my own bag to let's play it safe, at least I know what is inside it.  I've got a little bit of knee pain and my child is giving a little problem and mortgage is a little difficulty but the other guy's bag, you know nowadays this Zika virus is spreading and the swine flu hasn't gone away completely who knows what is there in his bag! This makes us all squeal (to make a loud high noise because of pain, fear). Why, this person is so nice & why are bad things happening to him or her Or we see the reverse. Good things happening to bad people and that shakes our faith.  Here Swami ji is giving you a paradigm (a typical example or pattern of something) that “grow from within and succeed in life” but Swamiji in the world we see the reverse, it is the 'chalu, the chant' the person who's clever and who knows all the tricks of the trade, who's succeeding. What happened was that he had a child who developed progeria, progeria is a disease that causes premature aging.  His poor child started growing prematurely and in front of his eyes by the age of fourteen he was manifesting the symptoms of an eighty-year-old and then he passed away. It created a lot of questions in Kushner's mind.  Kushner said I am a rabbi, I have never done anything bad in my life and my child was born with this disease & my child, there is no question of his doing anything bad. Why did I suffer? Why did my child suffer? So he considered these two alternatives and he concludes in his book that God cannot be having any evil in him otherwise he's not God.  He settled for the second alternative that he wants to do good but then you know Satan is so powerful and God is not all-powerful so he loses out. No, darkness is not an entity but the absence of light is darkness. When a room is dark, is there something in it? No, it's only light being absent.  Are heat and cold two different entities? of course not, you keep taking away the heat and what remains is cold. That is why you cool something remove the heat until something reaches absolute zero, you cannot cool it further because you have removed all the heat. Vahamyaham means I will protect my devotee, he said shri Krishna must have actually meant dadhamyaham, i.e., I will ask My (God’s) people to protect, you know such & such angels, you please come & protect so Jagannath Mishra cut the words of the Gita book, made it “dadhamyaham” (instead of Vahamyaham) & went off to bathe in the river.  Now Shri Krishna knows everything. 13:19 entire Mahabharat and the Gita is a part of the 13:21 Mahabharata so he wrote a commentary on this verse 13:24 as well so when he came to this verse he 13:28 looked at this “verse” Jagannath Mishra 13:39 said no, let me correct it, shri Krishna says I will 13:44 maintain the 13:46 yogkshem, Krishna said it by 13:49 mistake so he corrected it and said 13:53 “dadhamyaham”. vahamyaham means I will protect you my devotee, he said 13:59 shri Krishna means dadhamyaham,I.e., I will ask people to 14:02 protect, you know such & such angels you please come 14:05 14:08 & protect so Jagannath Mishra cut the 14:13 words of the Gita book, made it “dadhamyaham” (instead of vahamyaham) & went off to bathe in the river now shri Krishna knows everything Shri 14:26 Krishna said my God he is writing commentary on 14:30 my Gita in his purport he can write what ever 14:34 he wishes but why he is changing the 14:37 original, from “vahamyaham”, he has changed to “dadhamyaham”  shri Krishna came 14:44 there you know his face knocked off, as a little boy and He brought a whole lot of 14:54 rations so Jagannath Mishra did not have any 14:58 food at home and his wife was complaining 15:01 that look God is not protecting you so He came 15:04 with all these rations, knocked on the door Jagannath 15:09 Mishra's wife opens up and she says this little boy 15:12 carrying all the ration on the head with face all smashed 15:15 up, so who are you the boy said that Jagannath 15:20 Mishra has sent these rations for 15:23 you and the lady said why is your face so 15:26 beaten up, he got annoyed & hit me many 15:30 times she got so mad what's with my 15:34 husband getting annoyed at a little boy so she took 15:38 the ration and sent the boy off and Jagannath 15:42 Mishra came back from his bath in the river 15:45 his wife started pouring upon him have you 15:49 lost your senses in your old age is this the way to 15:52 behave he said what are you talking about she 15:55 said what was the need to beat that boy ?  which boy are you talking about ? you sent the boy and you 16:02 didn't even 16:03 realise you put so many groceries on his head 50 kg can a little boy 16:07 hold so much ? finally Jagannath Mishra figured 16:11 out what was the colour of the boy He was blue 16:14 coloured oh my God now he understood that 16:19 shri Krishna himself had come. I 16:23 corrected his words so He is showing I am 16:26 bruised all over I am maintaining your 16:30 yogkshem and to show what his words are 16:34 correct He 16:43 created that pastime but again there is a caveat (condition) here, now you say ok God will protect me but He says if you “Ananya (none other than Krishna) chintan” - if you engage your mind in my loving 16:56 devotion and absorb your mind in me alone - Ananya (none other than Krishna) 17:04 then to such a person I will take 17:08 complete 17:11 care so it is necessary for us now to 17:16 engage in devotion and then receive shri 17:20 Krishna’s 17:21 protection and that devotion must be Ananya (none other than Krishna) as per jagatguru Shri Kripalu ji 17:31 maharaj this word “Ananya (none other than Krishna)” is very 17:36 important  17:38 it is the key to it we have all engaged in 17:43 devotion in endless life 17:46 times but we were not Ananya (none other than Krishna) 17:49 our mind was divided a little love for 17:54 God, a little for the 17:56 world, a little for status, a little for prestige, a little 18:01 for  18:02 comforts and shri Krishna says “mam ekam”  18:08 I need you to lift the bar and make your 18:13 devotion 18:16 exclusive, make your love 18:19 exclusive, now whether you do it in one year or 18:23 five years or whenever but that kind of devotion 18:29 is what I will 18:31 need because that kind of devotion will purify the 18:37 mind see the problem is what we do is love God 18:41 a little, love world a little, “verse”  18:54 suppose there is a dirty linen you wish to clean it, so on this 18:59 side you are putting soap but on the other side  19:03 you are throwing dirt. now that cloth is not going to get 19:07 cleansed. likewise you use your heart to love God 19:13 and then again use it to love the world, so all the cleansing that  19:17 was going on, is undone. 19:21 and shri Krishna says none of this ghapad shaped (,I.e., none of this nonsense) 19:26 Ananya (none other than Krishna), understand this condition I've repeated it 19:30 many times in the 8th chapter He says “verse”  to that soul I will easily be attained, so in the  19:45 entire Gita only in one place shri Krishna 19:48 says I am easily attained, everywhere else He is saying very difficult “verse”  so to one soul he says you do this and I will meet you 20:00 easily you make your heart exclusive for me 20:04 and then see the magic I am guaranteeing you 20:08 Arjun I will maintain your yogakshem you 20:12 don't need to go to the life insurance 20:14 corporation
