The FASTEST Way to Clear your BAD KARMA - Secrets of Srimad-Bhagavatham by Swami Mukundanand

The FASTEST Way to Clear your BAD KARMA - Secrets of Srimad-Bhagavatham by Swami Mukundanand

https://youtu.be/lkYyRwmq9ug Main Points: 1  I have a question, how to change our destiny ? Can doing puja or astrological predictions can change our destiny and also how can we clear our negative past Karmas ?  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lkYyRwmq9ug&t=6  2  The negative past karmas have prescribed processes for their clearance which is called “prayschit”, the word for it in Sanskrit, is penitence. You did a sin, do the penance and it will be destroyed, but the problem is that we all have had endless lifetimes and we have done endless negative karmas (sins) in all these lives, how much penance are you going to do to destroy them all ?  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lkYyRwmq9ug&t=26  3  Dhritrashtra, after the Mahabharat war, asked Lord Krishna, he said, I am an old man and a hundred of my sons have died in my lifetime, what sin did I do to suffer this karmic reaction, so Lord Krishna said you did not do any such karma in this life, what about your past life ? Dhritrashtra had the boon he remembered his past three lives, he said that he has not done any such sin in last 3 lives BUT Krishna said you do not remember your sins of earlier lives & it all is the result of that.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lkYyRwmq9ug&t=74  4  Your karmas are from endless past lifetimes, they are called sanchit karmas, now with the help of puja and prayschit, if you wish to destroy these karmas, you will have to keep doing these for lifetimes and infinity minus infinity is still infinity, there will be no end to it, suppose let us say for a moment that you were able to destroy all the past negative karmas but the heart is still not cleansed  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lkYyRwmq9ug&t=126  5  It is like somebody does a sin and goes to jail, by fulfilling his jail term, the sin is destroyed, in the eyes of society that person is no longer a criminal but the heart is still unclean. He comes out and does the sin again. In fact sitting in jail people keep planning okay when we go out you join my gang & I will join your gang, so the heart is not cleansed and even if the heart is cleansed, the cause for the unclean heart is the agyan, the ignorance  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lkYyRwmq9ug&t=165  6  So if we wish to get rid of the whole problem, we need to do bhakti, as bhakti will destroy your karmas of past lives, and it will clean your heart and it will remove the ignorance which is the reason for the unclean heart. Just like fog is destroyed by the rising sun, similarly all the negative karmas of past lives, they will be burnt away if you engage in purified selfless bhakti, that is the way to do it and change your destiny.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lkYyRwmq9ug&t=207  Transcript 0:06 i have a question 0:07 that how to change our destiny 0:11 can doing puja or astrological 0:15 predictions 0:16 can change our destiny and also 0:20 how can we clear our negative past 0:23 karmas thank you 0:26 the negative past karmas have 0:30 prescribed processes for their clearance 0:34 which is called “prayschit” 0:37 the word for it in sanskrit is penitence 0:41 “Verse” 0:44 you did a sin do the penance and it will 0:48 be destroyed 0:51 but the problem is we all have had 0:55 endless lifetimes and we have done 0:59 endless negative karmas in all these 1:02 lives 1:04 now how much penance are you going to do 1:07 to destroy them all 1:14 Dhritrashtra, after the Mahabharat war,  asked Lord Krishna 1:17 he said i am an old man 1:21 and a hundred of my sons have died in my 1:24 lifetime 1:26 what sin did i do to suffer this karmic 1:29 reaction 1:31 so lord krishna said you did not do any 1:34 such karma in this life 1:36 what about your past life 1:39 Dhritrashtra had the boon he remembered his past 1:42 three lives he said no in the last 1:44 life also i didn't do any such thing 1:47 lord krishna said the life before no 1:50 the life before that not there as well 1:54 lord krishna said what about the life 1:56 prior to it 1:57 he said i don't remember shri krishna 2:00 said 2:02 you only remember three of your lives 2:06 your karmas are from endless 2:09 past lifetimes they are called sanchit 2:13 karmas 2:15 now with the help of puja and prayschit if 2:19 you 2:20 wish to destroy these karmas you will 2:23 have to keep doing these for lifetimes 2:26 and infinity minus infinity is still 2:29 infinity 2:30 there will be no end to it suppose 2:33 let us say for a moment that you were 2:36 able to destroy 2:37 all the past negative karmas 2:40 the heart is still not cleansed 2:45 it's like somebody does a sin and goes 2:48 to jail 2:50 by fulfilling his jail term the sin is 2:54 destroyed 2:55 in the eyes of society that person is no 2:59 longer a criminal 3:00 but the heart is unclean he comes out 3:04 and does the sin again in fact sitting 3:07 in jail people keep planning 3:09 okay when we go out you join my gang i 3:11 will join your gang 3:13 so the heart is not cleansed and even if 3:17 the heart is cleansed 3:20 the cause for the unclean heart is the 3:23 agyan, the ignorance 3:27 so if we wish to get rid of the whole 3:31 problem we need to do 3:35 bhakti as bhakti 3:38 will destroy your karmas of past lives 3:42 it will clean your heart 3:46 and it will remove the ignorance which 3:50 is the reason 3:51 for the unclean heart 3:58 again 4:06 that just like fog 4:09 is destroyed by the rising sun 4:12 similarly all the negative karmas of 4:16 past lives 4:18 they will be burnt away if you 4:21 engage in purified selfless 4:25 bhakti that is the way to do it 4:28 and change your destiny Standby link (in case youtube link does not work): The FASTEST Way to Clear your BAD KARMA - Secrets of Srimad-Bhagavatham by Swami Mukundananda.mp4

Bhagavad Gita - When All HOPE Is LOST Watch THIS! The Most Eye Opening 15 Minutes by Swami Mukundanand

Bhagavad Gita - When All HOPE Is LOST Watch THIS! The Most Eye Opening 15 Minutes by Swami Mukundanand

https://youtu.be/lHtC5lO70bQ

*Main Points*: 1  one young lady got married to a naval officer, after marriage she was accompanying her husband on her first voyage in the sea, unfortunately the ship got caught in terrible, storm it was getting tossed by the waves on the high seas and that created tremendous fear amongst all the passengers, the lady's husband, the naval officer was the captain of the ship, he was completely calm and peaceful, She was astonished at his equipoise and said my dear husband when everybody is besieged by fear, how is it that you are able to attain such calm  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lHtC5lO70bQ&t=3  2  the husband took out his sword from the sheath and placed the naked blade on his wife's head, he said darling, are you feeling scared ? The wife smiled why should I feel scared, I have got the blade on your head it can go through your skull you're not scared ? She said my dear husband, sword is in your hands & you are my well-wisher, I have complete faith that you will always work for my protection then why should I be scared ? The husband said in the same way I have complete faith that God is my well-wisher and this ship is in His hands & He will always protect me  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lHtC5lO70bQ&t=66  3  whatever God does will be for my well-being protection doesn't mean that my material luxury should remain. I have faith that He is my benefactor, so the third point in surrender is exactly this, “verse” of BHAKTI RASĀMRITA SINDHU “To desire only in accordance with the desire of God; not to desire against the desire of God. To have firm faith that God is protecting us” the BHAKTI RASĀMRITA SINDHU states to have faith that God is my protector, that fearlessness is the sign of “sharnagati”  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lHtC5lO70bQ&t=125  4  Listen to this incident of Mahabharat, wherein Bisham Pitamah vowed to kill arjuna the next day, but when Krishna went to Arjuna to console him at midnight at 2am, Arjuna was deep asleep, as he was not worried for his own life, as he had complete faith in Krishna’s protection for him  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lHtC5lO70bQ&t=173  5  to help you understand such knowledge which is otherwise so vast and esoteric (intended for or likely to be understood by only a small number of people with a specialized knowledge or interest), I have explained it simply in this recently published book, the Science of Mind Management, with the help of scriptural quotations, crystal clear logic and real life examples, I am sure you will benefit from it  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lHtC5lO70bQ&t=360  6  even in the world, a father takes care of a child & if the child says, father, will you give me bread tomorrow ? The father will say what is wrong with him, does he doubt whether I'll feed him or not ? Our scriptures says that Lord is Vishwambhar (all-sustaining or the one who sustains the universe) as He is taking care of all the living beings in the world  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lHtC5lO70bQ&t=390  7  you don't find elephants going hungry, these elephants are such big creatures they eat enormous amounts but God has ensured that they get what they need for their sustenance. Swami ji relates incidents of his Ashram at Orissa reg. elephants & their sharp memories God is also taking care of the little ants and also birds So I would often be curious, being a student of science, I would ponder how did these ants come to know that there is cashew nut on top of the table because there were no ants visible in the room, and this cashew doesn't have any smell worth talking about, I would often ask scientists and elders, how does the ant come to know. When nobody was able to give an answer then I concluded for myself that God is sitting inside the ant and inspiring it  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lHtC5lO70bQ&t=430  8  I have heard that once mother Lakshmi was pressing the feet of Lord Vishnu & She wanted to check the power of Lord to feed the ants – she deliberately enclosed one ant in a little box & closed it. When she opened the little box in the morning, she was shocked that the ant was live, having fed on a little grain left in the box by mistake. Listen for details..  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lHtC5lO70bQ&t=642  9  The Lord is taking care of all living beings & when we surrender to Him, don't you think He is going to take even more care of us. That faith,  that trust is what sharanagati is all about. In the Bhagavad-Gita Lord Krishna says Arjun “There are those who always think of Me and engage in exclusive devotion to Me. To them, whose minds are always absorbed in Me, I provide what they lack and preserve what they already possess.” httvedabase.io/en/library/bg/9/22/  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lHtC5lO70bQ&t=774  10  Although I am taking care of everyone in General, those who do My “sharanagati” who engage in my unalloyed (pure, ,i.e., ananya , अनन्य who worship & love Me alone, none else) devotion, I maintain their yog kshem (क्षेम) yoga — requirements; kṣemam — protection; So what does yog mean, yog means whatever spiritual asset they need for success in sadhana but they do not possess, I arrange for them to develop or receive it. And kshem (क्षेम) means what spiritual virtues they have acquired over lifetimes, I ensure that they are able to protect it  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lHtC5lO70bQ&t=815  11  The extent to which we progress in our surrender, to that extent, this faith will keep growing and to that extent we will become fearless, so this faith that I am surrendering to God and He is taking care of me, this is the third aspect of “surrender” (शरणागती)  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lHtC5lO70bQ&t=867  Transcript 0:03 one young lady 0:05 got married to a naval officer 0:09 after marriage she was accompanying her 0:12 husband on her first voyage in the sea 0:18 unfortunately 0:20 the ship got caught in terrible 0:24 storm it was getting tossed by the waves 0:29 on the high seas and that created 0:32 tremendous fear amongst all the 0:35 passengers 0:37 the lady's husband the naval officer was 0:42 the captain of the ship 0:45 he was completely calm and peaceful 0:50 she was astonished at his equipoise  0:53 and said my dear husband when everybody 0:57 is besieged by fear 1:00 how is it that you are able to attain 1:03 such calm 1:06 the husband took out his sword from the 1:10 sheath and placed the naked blade on his 1:14 wife's head 1:15 he said darling 1:17 are you feeling scared 1:20 the wife smiled why should I feel scared 1:24 I have got the blade on your head it can 1:27 go through your skull you're not scared 1:31 she said my dear husband 1:34 sword is in your hands you are my 1:38 well-wisher I have complete faith that 1:43 you will always work for my protection 1:46 then why should I be scared 1:49 the husband said in the same way I have 1:53 complete faith that God is my 1:57 well-wisher and this ship is in his 2:00 hands 2:02 he will always protect me 2:05 whatever he does will be for my 2:08 well-being protection doesn't mean that 2:12 my material luxury should remain 2:15 I have faith that he is my benefactor 2:21 so 2:23 the third point in surrender 2:26 is exactly this 2:29 “verse” of BHAKTI RASĀMRITA SINDHU “To desire only in accordance with the desire of God; not to desire against the desire of God. To have firm faith that God is protecting us” 2:37 the BHAKTI RASĀMRITA SINDHU states 2:40 to have faith that God is my protector 2:47 that fearlessness is the sign of “sharnagati” 2:53 just like Arjun was surrendered to Lord 2:57 Krishna and what was the consequence 2:59 during the Battle of Mahabharata when 3:03 duryodhan taunted 3:06 Grand sire bhishma that you are being 3:09 lenient with the pandavas if you wished 3:13 you could have killed him 3:15 bhishma felt insulted and he made a 3:20 resolve tomorrow by Sunset I will either 3:24 slay their best warrior Arjun 3:27 or else to protect him Lord 3:31 Krishna will have to break his vow and 3:35 lift weapons in this war 3:39 when the war ended that day in the 3:42 evening at dusk as was the rule in those 3:45 Days “Dharm Yudh” 3:47 even though War would be according to 3:50 rules 3:51 the news spread amidst the pond of enemy camp 3:56 that bhishma pitama had resolved to slay 4:01 Arjun the next day by sunset 4:05 everybody fell into deep gloom what will 4:09 happen tomorrow 4:12 Lord Krishna was also contemplating over 4:16 the situation and thinking about it  4:20 It became two o’ clock in the night 4:24 suddenly he thought 4:27 if I am so concerned about arjun's death 4:32 how worried he must be let me go and 4:35 console him 4:37 so he got out of his tent and walked 4:40 over to the tent where Arjun was 4:43 supposedly sleeping 4:45 Lord Krishna heard sounds of snoring 4:50 My my  so peaceful, he shook his friend 4:55 and said parth 4:57 Arjun said 4:59 Maharaj at this time in the night what 5:03 is the matter 5:04 Shri Krishna said have you not heard of 5:08 the resolve made by bhishma 5:11 Arjun said yes Maharaj I also received 5:14 the WhatsApp message 5:16 Shri Krishna said are you not concerned 5:19 worried about it 5:22 Arjun said my Lord 5:25 for my protection 5:27 if you are so worried that till two in 5:31 the morning you are unable to sleep 5:34 then why should I worry 5:41 let me do my best 5:45 and have full faith he is taking care of 5:48 me because ultimately that is all we can 5:51 do 5:52 strive to do the utmost in our actions 6:00 to help you understand such knowledge 6:03 which is otherwise so vast and esoteric (intended for or likely to be understood by only a small number of people with a specialized knowledge or interest) 6:07 I have explained it simply in this 6:11 recently published book the Science of 6:15 Mind Management with the help of 6:18 scriptural quotations Crystal Clear 6:21 logic and real life examples I am sure 6:26 you will benefit from it 6:30 even in the world 6:32 a father takes care of a child if the 6:36 child says father will you give me bread 6:38 tomorrow 6:40 the father will say what is wrong with 6:42 him does he doubt whether I'll feed him 6:44 or not 6:46 our scriptures says 7:00 that Lord is Vishwambhar (all-sustaining or the one who sustains the universe) he is taking care of 7:06 all the living beings in the world 7:10 you don't find elephants going hungry 7:14 these elephants are such big creatures 7:18 they eat enormous amounts but 7:22 God has ensured that they get what they 7:27 need for their sustenance 7:29 you know our ashram in India in Orissa 7:32 is an elephant country by the side is a 7:37 Forest Reserve 7:38 and every once in a while many times a 7:41 year the elephants walk in 7:43 they eat the cabbages and go away 7:46 that is when I came to study elephants 7:50 from Close Quarters and I understood so 7:53 many interesting things 7:55 firstly God has given them tremendous 7:58 memories why because their size makes 8:03 them vulnerable when they enter the 8:05 Village People will start throwing 8:07 things but now people know 8:10 that if I so much as throw a stone on 8:14 the elephant it will remember me for 8:16 life 8:17 and there have been episodes when the 8:20 elephant returned after many years and 8:24 remembering the person lifted and killed 8:27 that person that is why people are 8:29 scared of attacking these creatures and 8:33 then again if they revisit the same 8:36 place for fodder, people will be 8:38 prepared so they go to a different 8:41 location 8:43 every day of the year and their memory 8:47 acts to their benefit where they can 8:50 remember 8:51 365 routes 8:54 so God is taking care of these huge 9:00 creatures he's also taking care of the 9:04 little ants 9:05 growing up in India we often had this 9:09 experience that if a little bit of food 9:11 got left somewhere on the shelf or the 9:14 table after six hours you would find a 9:19 row of ants coming to take it away 9:23 so I would often be curious 9:27 being a student of science I would 9:30 Ponder how did these ants come to know 9:33 that there is cashew nut on top of the 9:35 table 9:37 because there were no ants visible in 9:39 the room 9:41 and this cashew doesn't have any smell 9:43 worth talking about 9:46 I would often ask scientists and Elders 9:50 how does the ant come to know 9:53 where nobody was able to give an answer 9:56 then I concluded for myself that God is 10:02 sitting inside the ant and inspiring it 10:06 climb this wooden leg you will find food 10:10 for yourself on top. 10:13 this is vishwambhar the Lord who takes 10:18 care of all living beings the Bible puts 10:23 it so well look at the birds in the 10:25 field they neither plow the land nor sow 10:29 the seeds nor reap and harvest nor store 10:32 away in Barns and yet our heavenly 10:36 father feeds them 10:39 are you not more than they 10:42 I have heard 10:45 that once mother Lakshmi 10:49 was pressing the feet of Lord Vishnu as 10:53 he lay on Anantashesh in the ocean of 10:57 milk 10:59 that was her daily Seva to her Divine 11:03 husband the Supreme lord of the universe 11:11 So, Lord Vishnu suddenly exclaimed to Lakshmi I have to 11:15 do so much of work in this world 11:20 Lakshmi said Maharaja you have to do so 11:23 much of work but all I see is that you 11:26 keep lying in this bed and I keep 11:29 pressing your feet at least I am doing 11:31 more work than you are 11:33 Lord Vishnu said Lakshmi this is my 11:36 external form my Leela internally I am 11:41 sitting in everyone's heart says as 11:43 paramatma 11:45 maintaining the universe 11:48 taking care of their needs noting their 11:52 karmas giving the results 11:56 Lakshmi thought let me put my husband's 11:59 words to test 12:01 next day in the morning 12:04 she got a little ant and she placed the 12:08 ant in a small jewel case 12:12 while she was doing her shringar 12:15 and closed the lid thinking let's see my 12:19 husband's prowess in protecting this 12:22 little ant 12:24 apparently it was without food all day 12:28 long 12:28 but at night when Lakshmi Devi opened 12:31 the lid of the jewel case she discovered 12:34 the ant was hail and hearty and strong 12:38 unknown to her a little grain of rice 12:42 from her head from the Puja had fallen 12:46 into the case and provided fodder to the 12:49 ant for the day, so do you see if 12:52 millions of ants there have died of 12:54 hunger ? the Lord is taking care of all 12:59 living beings when we surrender to him 13:03 don't you think he's going to take even 13:06 more care of us 13:09 That faith,  13:11 that trust is what sharanagati is all 13:16 about 13:18 in the bhagavad-gita Lord Krishna says 13:33 he says Arjun “There are those who always think of Me and engage in exclusive devotion to Me. To them, whose minds are always absorbed in Me, I provide what they lack and preserve what they already possess.” https://vedabase.io/en/library/bg/9/22/ 13:35 although I am taking care of everyone in 13:39 general 13:40 those who do my sharanagati 13:45 who engage in my unalloyed (pure, ,i.e., ananya , अनन्य who worship & love Me alone, none else) devotion 13:52 I maintain their yog kshem (क्षेम) yoga — requirements; kṣemam — protection; 13:56 so what does yog mean 14:00 yog means whatever spiritual asset they 14:03 need for success in sadhana but they do 14:07 not possess 14:08 I arrange for them to develop or 14:11 receive it 14:13 and kshem (क्षेम) means what spiritual virtues 14:17 they have acquired over lifetimes 14:21 I ensure that they are able to protect 14:25 It 14:27 the extent to which we progress in our 14:31 surrender 14:32 to that extent this faith will keep 14:36 growing and to that extent we will 14:40 become Fearless 14:42 so this faith that I am surrendering to 14:47 God and he is taking care of me this is 14:52 the third aspect of “surrender” (शरणागती)

BG 4.23 | ONE Powerful Sign of Your Krishna Consciousness | Bhagavad Gita Inspiration by Swami Mukundanand

BG 4.23 | ONE Powerful Sign of Your Krishna Consciousness | Bhagavad Gita Inspiration by Swami Mukundanand

https://youtu.be/U2dpXAbLUQI

Main Points:   1  Bhagavad Gita Chapter 4 Verse 23 Translation by Swami Mukundananda “The work of a man who is unattached to the modes of material nature and who is fully situated in transcendental knowledge merges entirely into transcendence”.  https://vedabase.io/en/library/bg/4/23/  They are released from the bondage of material attachments and their intellect is established in divine knowledge since they perform all actions as a sacrifice to God, they are freed from all karmic reactions   https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U2dpXAbLUQI&t=47   2  Krishna is now concluding this topic of working in Divine Consciousness, He says that such saintly persons, first of all they create a Divine Vacuum (of detachment from world) within themselves   https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U2dpXAbLUQI&t=89  3  how do you pump up the water from a hand pump, you have to create a vacuum, listen to example of one person who went to an Indian village    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U2dpXAbLUQI&t=109  4  that is how the rain also falls, when it is getting very hot,  soon the rain comes because the heat causes the air to rise and that results in a vacuum and the vacuum pulls the moisture from the ocean, and then the clouds and then the rain downpour   https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U2dpXAbLUQI&t=189  5  so likewise, if you want the downpour of divine grace, then you have to create a vacuum in your heart, this is the vacuum of detachment, if you want the grace of God to come, then detach yourself mentally from the world    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U2dpXAbLUQI&t=229  6  we people want “दोनों हाथ में लड्डू”,  I want all my worldly attachments to remain intact and I also want God to grace me with Divine love, God says this will not happen, you will have to create that vacuum but Remember, He is not saying you run away from the world, He is saying take the world out from inside of your mind   https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U2dpXAbLUQI&t=252  7  the world, per se, is not bad -  our attachment to it is causing the problem   https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U2dpXAbLUQI&t=284  8  listen to another exampln one hall, there was a practice session going on  the stage of an orchestra and likewise a carpenter was also doing his work..   https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U2dpXAbLUQI&t=294  9  if orchestra is disturbing carpenter or is it vice versa ? so who is disturbing whom, likewise we have the world on the outside, and the world inside of us, so our illusion is that the world on the outside is disturbing me, as most people say, you know it is my relatives, who are the cause of my BP going up etc and we blame all the outside world for all my tension & anxiety  but the Bhagavad-Gita says no it is all inside you, your own tension caused because of attachment and attachment is leading to expectations and then disappointments on not fulfilling of the expectations   https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U2dpXAbLUQI&t=356  10 the saints are also in the same world, and they're not experiencing any tension, it's not that they are living on a colony in Mars, they are also living in the same world and yet they are free from anxiety   https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U2dpXAbLUQI&t=401  11  Listen to the example of  one king, who had a guru who used to live in the forest - this shows the guru even though stayed with all the material possessions, was able to keep his mind detached from all the material possessions BUT the king was not able to do so   https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U2dpXAbLUQI&t=419  12 detachment of the mind from worldly possessions & persons, in any way, is the internal state of mind, this is what the Bhagavad-Gita is talking about and so many people in the world   miss out on this vital point (you do not have to actually lose the material possessions but only get your mind detached from these, so that their loss does not affect our loving devotion to God)   https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U2dpXAbLUQI&t=588  13  Listen to the examples of Phalahari babas (who eat only fruits), Doodhahari baba (drinks only milk), Pavanahari baba (does not eat anything except air), Mauni baba (has taken a vow of silence for several years) etc. - these mere external parameters  of detachment do not give the certificate of God realization   https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U2dpXAbLUQI&t=604  14   so this is external vairagya,   this is not the parameter for  renunciation  otherwise, the animals are more renounced  than us,  is it not that the monkeys live on the trees ?  they don't sleep in luxury beds, the  goats eat only leaves,  the donkey puts ashes all over itself,  the snake it stays alive for so many  days merely on the air,  if external renunciation could result in  God realization, all these animals would  have achieved God but it is always and  always only the mind which is the cause  of our Bondage (to be reborn & die again & again in this material world in any of 84 lakh yonis) and Liberation   https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U2dpXAbLUQI&t=684   15   so for such saintly people (who keep their minds attached to God), the mind  is detached, their intellect is  established in Divine knowledge,  now Shri Krishna says they are doing  every work  as an act of sacrifice to the Supreme, so  this is the Seva Bhav, the act of sacrifice to God   https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U2dpXAbLUQI&t=735  Transcript Intro 0:03 the world per se (in itself) is not bad 0:07 our attachment to it is causing the 0:10 problem 0:11 it is always and always only the mind 0:17 which is the cause of bondage and 0:21 Liberation 0:23 bhagavad-gita chapter 4 verse chanting 0:26 is followed by translation and 0:29 commentary by Swami mukundananda Bhagavad Gita Chapter 4 Verse 23 Chanting 0:47 Bhagavad Gita Chapter 4 Verse 23 Translation by Swami Mukundananda 0:59 they are released from the bondage of 1:04 material attachments 1:06 and their intellect is established in 1:11 Divine knowledge 1:13 since they perform all actions as a 1:17 sacrifice to God 1:19 they are freed from all karmic reactions Commentary by Swami Mukundananda 1:29 he is now 1:31 concluding this topic 1:34 of working in Divine Consciousness he 1:39 says such saintly persons 1:42 first of all they create a Divine vacuum 1:46 within themselves 1:49 how do you pump up the water 1:52 you have to create a vacuum 1:55 one person went to an Indian village for 1:58 the first time 2:00 from California 2:02 he had never seen a hand pump 2:05 it was his grandfather's Village 2:09 so they all went to sleep at night and 2:12 the morning 2:13 he thought he will have tap water for 2:16 his bath his grandfather said you know 2:19 you have to pump it from here these two 2:22 buckets you can fill and take them 2:24 inside and have a bath 2:26 so he tried pumping and nothing was 2:29 happening 2:30 so he said there's no water coming out 2:33 Grandfather said keep on at it so he 2:37 kept on pumping 10 times till nothing 2:39 carry on Don't Stop 2:42 now after 30 times that vacuum had been 2:47 created in the pipe and the water 2:50 started coming out his grandfather said 2:53 now keep pumping don't stop and the 2:56 water was flowing out in full force 3:00 so to get the pump to draw out water 3:04 from the well you have to have the 3:07 vacuum 3:09 that is how the rain also falls 3:13 people were telling me on the East Coast 3:16 I forget which of those cities it was 3:19 because the last one month I went to 3:21 eight cities 3:24 so one of the Cities they were telling 3:26 me swamiji said it's getting hot they 3:28 said swamiji the moment it gets hot very 3:31 soon the rain comes 3:33 because the heat causes the air to rise 3:37 and that results in a vacuum 3:39 and the vacuum pulls the moisture from 3:44 the ocean 3:45 and then the clouds and then the rain 3:48 downpour 3:49 so likewise if you want the downpour of 3:53 divine grace 3:56 then you have to create a vacuum in your 3:59 heart 4:00 this is the vacuum of detachment 4:05 if you want the grace of God to come 4:09 then detach yourself 4:12 we people say दोनों हाथ में लड्डू  4:16 I want all my worldly attachments to 4:20 remain intact and I also want God to 4:24 grace me with Divine love 4:26 God says this will not happen 4:29 you will have to create that vacuum but 4:33 remember he is not saying you run away 4:36 from the world 4:38 he is saying take the world out from 4:41 inside of you  4:44 the world per se is not bad 4:48 our attachment to it is causing the 4:51 problem 4:53 once 4:54 in one Hall 4:58 there was a practice session going on on 5:00 the stage of an orchestra 5:03 and likewise a carpenter was also doing 5:07 his work by the side because the 5:10 maintenance had to be done 5:12 so here 5:14 the orchestra 5:17 they are trying their best now they want 5:21 all the harmonics to be just perfect and 5:24 there the carpenter is going tak tak 5:27 tak 5:28 the moment he would start 5:31 the director of the orchestra would look 5:33 at the carpenter the carpenter would 5:36 look at the director 5:39 then again they would exchange glances 5:43 after a few minutes the carpenter put it 5:45 down 5:46 and he said to the director look you 5:49 guys are disturbing me you can carry 5:52 on 5:56 so who is disturbing whom 6:00 likewise we have the world on the 6:03 outside 6:04 and the world inside of us 6:07 so our illusion is the world on the 6:10 outside is disturbing me you know it is 6:13 my relatives who are the cause of my BP 6:15 going up etc and it is always the 6:18 outside world 6:19 why are you so tense and anxious it is 6:22 because of him because of her because of 6:23 this because of that 6:25 but the bhagavad-gita says no 6:28 it is all inside you your own tension 6:32 caused because of attachment and 6:36 attachment is leading to expectations 6:39 and then disappointments  6:41 the Saints are also in the same world 6:44 and they're not experiencing any tension 6:47 it's not that they are living on a 6:49 colony in Mars they are also living in 6:52 the same world 6:53 and yet they are free from anxiety 6:59 once 7:00 one king 7:03 he had a guru who used to live in the 7:06 forest 7:08 so the king 7:10 motivated by desire to serve 7:14 went to the guru and then offered him a 7:17 silver plate 7:19 and to honor the disciples Seva bhav 7:23 the guru started eating from the silver 7:25 plate 7:27 then the king's heart you know he is my 7:29 Guru he should drive around in a good 7:32 car so he presented him with a nice car 7:35 and slowly The Possessions started 7:37 increasing 7:39 until finally he made a palace for the 7:41 guru just like he had for himself 7:45 so the guru now was living in a palace 7:48 just like the King was 7:52 all the opulence everywhere 7:55 the doubt entered the king's mind 8:00 the king said 8:02 gurudev now 8:05 there is no difference between you and 8:07 me 8:09 because I am living in luxury and so are 8:12 you 8:15 genuine doubt 8:17 many people have that doubt 8:20 so the guruji he smiled 8:24 he told his disciples beta let's take a 8:26 walk in the forest 8:29 he said all right 8:31 they started walking in the forest 8:33 they went for an hour the king said 8:35 guruji when will we turn around 8:37 let's take a round - continue walking a 8:40 little further 8:42 they continued walking after half an 8:44 hour the king said guruji are we going 8:46 to turn around 8:48 the guru said you know what is the hurry 8:50 let's keep walking 8:52 they walked another one hour 8:54 now the King was getting really anxious 8:57 he said gurudev are we not going to get 8:59 back 9:00 the guru said what is the need for 9:02 getting back let us live out here in the 9:04 jungle the king said guruji how is that 9:07 possible I've got my queen I've got my 9:09 children I've got my dog etc everything 9:14 Guru said beta that is the difference 9:16 between you and me 9:18 you said there is no difference between 9:20 you and me we are both living in the 9:22 same Palace that is the difference 9:25 for me there is no difference between 9:28 the palace and the jungle because I have 9:31 no attachment 9:32 wherever the Lord wants me to be I will 9:35 be you presented me all these things and 9:39 to respect to strengthen yourself I 9:42 accepted them but it doesn't mean that 9:45 it has affected my attachment my 9:48 detachment in any way 9:51 so the internal state is what the 9:56 bhagavad-gita is talking about 9:58 and so many people in the world they 10:01 miss out on this point 10:04 this is Phalahari baba 10:08 How many Phalahari Babas are there in India 10:10 what does he do he eats only fruit so he 10:13 Is Phalahari baba 10:15 but tell me there are so many animals 10:18 that eat only fruit so just by eating a 10:21 fruit is that a sign of some spiritual 10:23 elevation and this Baba he is Doodhahari baba 10:28 he only drinks milk so he is more senior 10:31 than Phalahari baba 10:33 and this Baba 10:35 he is Pavanahari he eats nothing he only 10:38 does pranayama then he's got the 10:40 certificate of God realization 10:43 so if we take these external parameters 10:47 of Detachment he is Mauni baba 10:51 see the most convenient thing when you 10:53 become a baba people will come and ask 10:55 you questions and if you don't have 10:57 knowledge of the scriptures you become a 10:59 Mauni baba take the wow of Silence 11:02 now the disciples will say 11:06 our guruji knows a lot but he's under 12 11:09 year vow of Silence 11:12 after 12 years extend it for another 12 11:14 years 11:15 after that another 12 years and after 11:18 that there will be so many thousands of 11:20 disciples even if people come to know I 11:22 don't know who cares about it and then 11:24 so this is external vairagya  11:28 this is not the parameter for 11:31 renunciation 11:33 otherwise the animals are more renounced 11:37 than us 11:39 is it not that the monkeys live on the trees 11:43 they don't sleep in luxury beds the 11:46 goats eat only leaves 11:49 the donkey puts ashes all over itself 11:52 the snake it stays alive for so many 11:55 days merely on the air 11:59 if external renunciation could result in 12:03 God realization all these animals would 12:06 have achieved God but it is always and 12:10 always only the mind which is the cause 12:15 of bondage and Liberation so the mind 12:20 is detached their intellect is 12:24 established in Divine knowledge 12:28 now Shri Krishna says they are doing 12:32 every work 12:34 as an act of sacrifice to the Supreme so 12:39 this is the Seva Bhav the act of sacrifice 12:45 then what becomes of their consciousness 12:50 he is going to explain in the next verse

This is Why the Human Body is the Most Important Gift We Have | Story of GARUDA by Swami Mukundanand

This is Why the Human Body is the Most Important Gift We Have | Story of GARUDA  by Swami Mukundanand

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BR9lpH0h_fU

*Main Points*  1 How a fisherman in early morning found a bag full of “stones” and threw them all in the river to pastime but with the last pebble he found that it was not a stone but a jewel, he strongly repented how he wasted his previous 23 jewels  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BR9lpH0h_fU&t=0   2 Human Form he said, oh my God, God gave me 24 of these and in my ignorance, I threw them away ,how unfortunate I am. However that fisherman was still fortunate that he got one for himself, many people are not even that fortunate because more precious than the jewels is a gift that God has given us and unaware of its value, we squander (waste) it, this gift is the human form https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BR9lpH0h_fU&t=110  3 this human form is so precious, that is why the Kathopnishad states and translated this mantra with his famous words “Awake, Arise and Stop NOT till the goal is reached” so to really put it to good use. we need to understand why is the human form so important, if you know the value of something you will not misutilize it https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BR9lpH0h_fU&t=154  4 The Most Important Form in the Ramayan, Uttarkand, Garud ji asked Kagbushundi seven questions, Kagbushundi was in a hurry, he said be quick, so whatever questions that could be asked from the scriptures, Garud ji selected seven of them which means the most important seven and the first of them was, maharaj tell me first of all, which is the most important form of life ? there are 8.4 million forms https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BR9lpH0h_fU&t=204  5 a few years ago I saw an article in BBC, claiming scientists have now realized there are 8.17 million species, I said not bad at all, the Vedic scriptures say 8.4 million https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BR9lpH0h_fU&t=273  6 Souls the plants also have a soul like us, their body may be less, their intellect may be covered but their soul is just like us, we've been plants in the past life we could become a plant again, the sons of Kuber, they became trees, you know they were children of rich people, it is said the children of rich people are very vulnerable to sinful activities and Narad ji saw them and he cursed them to become Amala  Arjuns trees,  the animals of course have souls and there are some souls in the celestial abodes Indra, Varun, Kuber, so Garud ji is asking which of all of these is the most important form, Kagbushundi said there is no other form like the human Form, all the “Char” (चर, movable) and “ACHAR” ( अचर immovable) souls hanker to receive It, even the Devtas hanker for this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BR9lpH0h_fU&t=291  7 Garud ji was astounded, devatas are being worshipped by us in the yagnas, we offer them “ahuti” (sacrifice). The celestials we are worshiping them, offering oblations to them, why should they desire the human form but this is said not in one place but in many places. Sur ,i.e., the devtas desire,  please make me a human bing, so Garud ji was astonished, why should the devatas desire this nasty body of humans https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BR9lpH0h_fU&t=383  8 Devta’s body is etheral (extremely delicate and light in a way that seems too perfect for this world) it has got so much of Aroma (pleasant smell) in it, if they were to come here and we were to smell we'd get so much of bliss, we would faint unconscious, that is the Devta’s body, it doesn't even touch the ground, it walks above, it was on that basis that Damayanti selected Nala, her beloved from mrityulok.  Damayanti she was so beautiful that even the devatas coveted her, so at the time of the varmala, the devatas made a body like Nala and they came and stood there, when Damayanti arrived with the varmala, she saw six Nalas standing there and she was confused what to do, then she remembered that Devata’s body doesn't even touch the ground, she looked down and only one was touching the ground, she understood that here is my beloved, such is the body of the Devatas  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HcGiONdg-XM&t=468    9 and regarding our human form, little temperature rises, sweat sweat sweat, little temperature decreases, another Problem, God has filled it so that you have to keep scratching yourself etc etc. Every time it's hungry or thirsty and so on so forth, even our eyes they have to keep on blinking, human has got the nine gates,  animals, after their death, their hide is usable etc, but for the human form, nothing is Usable, why should the Devtas desire this kind of a body, this was the curiosity in Garud ji's mind, so what is special about the human  body https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HcGiONdg-XM&t=554

Intro

0:00

a

0:01

fisherman at 4 a.m. in the

0:05

morning left his home with a net to

0:09

reach the

0:11

river his job would be to throw the net

0:14

and catch the fish but it was still

0:18

dark so he thought let the sun rise a

0:21

little and there be sufficient light

0:24

then I'll throw my net in the meantime

0:27

he sat down by the riverside on a stone

0:32

boulder his feet were in the

0:36

water under his feet he felt that there

0:39

was some kind of a

0:42

bag in the dark he pulled it out and

0:47

inserted his hand in the bag he found

0:49

some kind of round

0:52

objects and it was clear to him that

0:55

these are some pebbles in the bag

0:57

someone has discarded them

1:00

he pulled out a pebble and threw

1:05

it it went into the water

1:09

plop the sound was

1:12

The sound was karna priya (soothing to the ears) he said so nice he picked out

1:15

another one and threw that then

1:17

another

1:19

one in this way one by one he kept

1:24

throwing

1:25

24 Pebbles from the bag

1:30

the last one was in his hand now it had

1:34

become sufficient light for him to

1:36

see so he cast a glance what was it he

1:40

was

1:41

Chucking and he was shocked in his hand

1:46

was a

1:48

priceless

1:50

jewel he said oh my God God gave me 25

1:56

of

1:57

these and in my ignorance I threw them away

Human Form

2:01

24 how unfortunate I

2:05

am however that fisherman was still

2:08

fortunate he got one for

2:12

himself many people are not even that

2:16

fortunate because more precious than the

2:20

jewels is a gift that God has given us

2:25

and unaware of its value we squander it

2:31

this gift is the human

2:34

form this human

2:37

form is so

2:40

precious that is why the Kathopnishad

2:52

states and translated this Mantra with

2:56

his famous words awake arise

Mantra

3:00

and stop not till the goal is

3:05

reached so to really put it to good

3:08

use we need to understand why is the

3:12

human form so

3:15

important if you know the value of

3:19

something you will not misutilize

3:23

it  in the

3:26

ramayan

3:28

Uttarkand, Garud ji asked Kagbushundi seven

3:35

questions Kagbushundi was in a hurry he

3:38

said be

3:40

quick so whatever questions that could

3:44

be asked from the scriptures Garud ji selected

3:47

seven of them

The Most Important Form

4:01

which means the most important

4:05

seven and the first of them

4:19

was Maharaj tell me first of

4:22

all which is the most important form of

4:27

life

4:30

there are 8.4 million

4:33

forms a few years ago I saw an article

4:37

in BBC claiming scientists have now

4:40

realized there are

4:43

8.17 million

4:45

species I said not bad at all the Vedic

4:49

scriptures say 8.4

4:51

million so these 8.4 million means the

4:56

plants also have a soul like us

Souls

5:00

no less their body may be less their

5:03

intellect may be covered but their soul

5:05

is just like us we've been plants in the

5:08

past life we could become a plant

5:11

again the sons of

5:14

kuber they became

5:17

trees you know they were children of

5:20

rich people it is said the children of rich

5:22

people are very vulnerable to sinful

5:25

activities and Narad ji saw them and he

5:28

cursed them to become Amala

5:32

Arjuns so they are also having souls the

5:35

animals of course have souls and there

5:38

are some souls in the celestial abodes

5:41

Indra Varun

5:44

Kuber so he is asking which of all of

5:48

these is the most important

5:54

Form, Kagbushundi said

Celestials

6:08

there is no other form like the human

6:11

form all the “Char” (चर, movable) and “ACHAR” ( अचर immovable)

6:15

souls hanker to receive

6:18

it all means even the Devtas hanker for

6:23

this  Garud ji was astounded devatas are being

6:27

worshipped by us

6:29

in the yagnas, we

6:38

offer them “ahuti” (sacrifice)

6:40

The celestials we are worshiping them

6:42

offering oblations to them why should

6:46

they desire the human

6:48

form but this is said not in one place

6:51

in many places

7:29

Sur ,i.e., the devtas desire

7:34

please make me a human

7:39

being so Garud ji was

7:42

astonished why should the devatas desire

7:46

this nasty

7:48

body  their body is

7:53

etheral it has got so much of Aroma in

7:57

it if they

8:00

were to come

8:01

here and we were to

8:03

smell we' get so much of bliss we would

8:07

faint

8:08

unconscious that is the Devta’s body it

8:12

doesn't touch the ground it walks

8:15

above it was on that basis that

8:18

damayanti selected

8:21

Nala

8:23

Damayanti her beloved was Nala

 of mrityulok

8:27

but she was so beautiful that even

8:31

the devatas coveted her so at the time of

8:36

the

8:37

varmala the devatas made a body like

8:41

Nala and they came and stood there when

8:45

damayanti arrived with the varmala she

8:48

saw six Nalas standing

8:51

there and she was confused what to

8:56

do then she remembered that in Swami satsang

8:59

she had heard that Devata’s body doesn't even

Devatas

9:03

touch the ground she looked down and

9:05

only one was touching the ground she

9:07

understood that he is my

9:09

beloved this is the body of the devatas

9:14

and our human

9:16

form little temperature rises sweat

9:19

sweat sweat little decreases another

9:23

problem God has filled it so that you

9:25

have to keep scratching yourself etc etc

9:28

every time it's hungry thirsty and so on

9:31

so forth even our eyes they have to keep

9:33

on

9:34

blinking he got the nine

9:37

Gates the human

9:39

form animals you know after their death

9:42

their hide is usable etc the human form

9:45

nothing is

9:46

usable why should the Devtas desire this kind

9:50

of a

9:51

body this was the Curiosity in Garud ji's

9:56

mind, so what is special about the human

10:00

body
